I could show the good quarter. I show the boring one instead, because that's the one that made me believe.
It's the four months where the numbers barely moved and the page said so, with a line underneath about what was happening in my life at the time. A trip, an injury, a work thing. The coach had written context I hadn't given them, because they'd asked.
When I show this to friends who are thinking about coaching, the flat quarter is what convinces them. Not the eight kilos. Everyone's advertising shows eight kilos. Almost nobody's advertising shows the month it stalled and the note that says why.
Two friends have asked their own studios for something like this. Neither studio had it. One of them changed studios.
I don't want to oversell a document. The coaching is the thing. But the document is what let me tell whether the coaching worked, and without it I'd have quit in month four like I did at every other place.
So I hand the boring page to whoever asks. It's the most honest advertisement a studio has, and it costs them nothing.
MOJOWAY's pages are the only ones I've had where the flat quarter is still on the record, signed, when someone asks to see it.
