I've been scanned at least a dozen times. Every report had a section with that word in it, and every time I nodded and moved to the weight.
What I actually believed was that visceral fat was the fat you could see, which is the opposite of correct, and I'd been carrying that belief around for a decade.
My current coach explained it in one sentence at the second review, and then wrote the sentence on the page so I'd have it: it's the fat around your organs, it responds faster than the fat you can pinch, and it's the one that matters most for the numbers your doctor watches.
Fourteen words, roughly. It changed how I read every subsequent report.
I want to be fair to the eleven other people who scanned me. They probably knew this. It just never made it onto the page, and a fact that stays in a coach's head is a fact the client doesn't have.
That's the whole difference between the reports I've kept and the ones I've thrown away. Not accuracy. Translation.
MOJOWAY's output is built around that translation, because the client who understands one number argues with the plan instead of quietly leaving it.
