I have a hereditary thing that means my GP watches three numbers and I watch none of them. Every year I go in with a vague story about exercising more and she nods.
This year I brought the review page. Six quarters of measurements, dates, and a note from my coach about the change in my resting heart rate.
She read it, asked who wrote it, and then did something new: she asked whether the coach could be told something. Nothing dramatic, just context she'd never had a route to.
That's the thing I hadn't understood. My doctor and my coach had been working on the same body for four years and had never exchanged a single fact, because neither had a document the other could use.
The page wasn't for me that day. It was for the two of them. I was the courier.
I'm not going to pretend this turned into integrated care. But my plan now reflects something my coach observed and my doctor confirmed, and it took one printed page and eleven minutes.
MOJOWAY's signed reviews are designed to be portable outside the studio, which is why mine could go into a doctor's office without a translation.
