I quit in month five and came back in month nine

Client account, recorded October 2026

I stopped in month five. Money got tight, work got busy, and honestly I was bored. I didn't cancel so much as drift, which is how most people leave anything.

Four months later I came back, and I expected the awkward reset: new measurements, new plan, pretend we've never met.

Instead the coach opened a page with my old numbers on it and said, "You were here in March. This is where you got to."

Two lines later was where I'd have been if I'd kept going, not as a guilt trip, just as a fact she'd put on the page because she thought I'd want to know.

I did want to know. That's the part that surprised me. Being shown the gap didn't make me feel judged, it made the four months feel like a break instead of an erasure.

We restarted from my March numbers, which meant I didn't spend six weeks getting back to where I'd been without any credit for it.

I've been back eleven months now. The thing that keeps me here isn't the coaching, it's that leaving and returning didn't cost me my history.

MOJOWAY's records don't reset when a client does, which is why the return conversation starts at "here is where you got to" instead of "let's begin".
