The review nobody dreads

Field note, strength studio in Leeds, October 2026

Renewal month used to be the worst four weeks of his year. Eleven conversations, and most of them opened with a silence he had to fill.

He'd start with the results, which was the only thing he had, and the client would nod along and say something about thinking it over. Two of the eleven would come back. The rest drifted quietly, the way people do when they don't want a scene.

What changed wasn't the pitch. He stopped having renewal conversations at all and started having review conversations, at month ten, with a document in front of both of them: where they started, where they are, the three things that moved, the two that didn't, and what the next three months could look like if they kept going.

The meeting takes twenty-five minutes now. Half of it is the client talking about their own numbers, which is the part he never used to get.

Nobody has said "let me think about it" in eight months. That phrase exists to end a conversation that was never really a conversation.

The document isn't a trick. It's the record of a year, and a person who can see their year is being asked to decide about the next one with their own evidence in hand.

MOJOWAY's body kit produces that document: starting numbers, current numbers, and a short plain-English line about what changed, signed by the coach who watched it happen.
