The renewal moved earlier

Field note, studio retention data, 2026

The old pattern is well known to studio owners. A client signs for a year, drifts at month four, and the renewal conversation happens at month eleven when it's already decided.

What changed for one studio was not the sales script. It was the report.

Three months in, every client got a page: their starting numbers, their current numbers, and one line about what the next three months could be for. The coach sent it with a short note and nothing else.

The renewal conversation moved from month eleven to month three, and it stopped being a negotiation. It became a review of the last quarter, which is much harder to walk away from than a sales page.

I find this interesting because it's the least magical version of retention: evidence, early, with a person's name on it.

None of that requires the client to be doing better. It requires them to know where they started, which is what people forget first.

MOJOWAY's kit makes the three-month page cheap enough to send to everyone, not just the clients who are doing well.
